And this is how the course will work:
Hand-building is a great way to get started in the world of pottery!
In this workshop, we will show you how to use the slab technique to create your own beautiful works of art based on your own ideas.
Step by step you will learn how to make, cut and join your slabs of clay to create your desired shape.
You will develop an understanding of how clay works and can play with its versatility by exploring ways to customise your pieces, such as adding texture and colour.
Once your pieces are dry, we will fire them for you and glaze them with transparent glaze.
You can produce 1-2 pieces during the course.
Pick up your self-made pottery
Your self-made pottery will be ready 2-3 weeks after the last course date.
As soon as they are ready for collection, we will send you an email. Please understand that we can keep your finished vessels for a maximum of 4 weeks after notification.
Cancellation
A cancellation must be made at least 7 days before the course starts for a full refund. If you miss one of the sessions, NO MAKE-UP CLASSES will be offered.
