And this is how the course will work:
We will show you the techniques needed to throw cans, plates, jugs and vases.
You will practise creating specific shapes and vessels on the potter's wheel.
We will cater to the wishes of the participants.
This course is suitable for anyone who has already taken a potter's wheel beginner's course (5 sessions) or similar.
| 1st session: | Setting the course content based on participants wishes; demonstration and explanation of the various manufacturing processes; throwing the desired vessels with individual assistance. |
| 2nd session: | The vessels made during the first session are trimmed and, if desired, fitted with handles. |
| 3rd session: | You will learn additional techniques for throwing other vessel shapes (e.g. closed vessels). |
| 4th session: | The vessels made during the third session will be trimmed and, if desired, fitted with handles. |
| 5th session: | You will have a wide range of coloured glazes at your disposal to decorate your already fired vessels. |
Pick up your self-made pottery
Your self-made pottery will be ready 2-3 weeks after the last course date.
As soon as they are ready for collection, we will send you an email. Please understand that we can keep your finished vessels for a maximum of 4 weeks after notification.
Cancellation
A cancellation must be made at least 7 days before the course starts for a full refund. If you miss one of the sessions, NO MAKE-UP CLASSES will be offered.
