In this 5-week wheel-throwing course, we will show you all the techniques, moves and tricks you need to make cups, bowls and small vases. On the last date, you can glaze all your own pottery.

And this is how the course will work:
This course takes place over five evenings during the week. With individual supervision, you will be taught the basic techniques for making small vessels such as mugs, bowls and vases on the potters wheel.
This course requires no prior knowledge and is aimed at beginners and advanced beginners.
Four to seven vessels can be completed during the course.
Please note that we will take a break before the last date in order to be able to fire all your pieces.
| 1st date: | We practise centring clay on the wheel and throwing simple shapes such as mugs and bowls. |
§§2nd date:§The techniques for making vessels on the wheel are repeated and deepened. You can develop your creativity on the potters wheel.
| 3rd date: | You will learn further techniques to create your own individual mould. |
| 4th date: | The vessels made during the first three dates will be turned and, if desired, fitted with handles. |
| 5th date: | You have a large selection of coloured glazes at your disposal with which you can design the vessels you have already fired once. |
Pick up your self-made pottery
Your self-made pottery will be ready 2-3 weeks after the last course date.
As soon as they are ready for collection, we will send you an email. Please understand that we can keep your finished vessels for a maximum of 4 weeks after notification.
Cancellation
A cancellation must be made at least 7 days before the course starts for a full refund. If you miss one of the sessions, NO MAKE-UP CLASSES will be offered.
