In this 11-hour intensive course, the focus is on learning the individual steps, techniques and handles needed to make cups, bowls and small vases on the wheel.

And this is how the course will work:
This course takes place on four evenings during the week. On two evenings we will dedicate three hours each to throw vessels on the wheel. We will show you the technique and give you individual support in making your own work. After trimming and firing, you can glaze your self-made vessels yourself.
|1.session:||We show you the individual techniques for throwing a vessel step by step. Then you will practise centering, forming the base and pulling walls.|
|2.session:||The techniques for making vessels on the wheel are repeated and deepened.You can develop your creativity at the potter's wheel.|
|3.session:||The vessels made in the 1st and 2nd sessions are trimmed and, if desired, handles and/or spouts are added.|
|4.session:||You will have a large selection of coloured glazes at your disposal with which you can design your already fired vessels.|
Pick up your self-made pottery
Your self-made pottery will be ready 2-3 weeks after the last course date.
As soon as they are ready for collection, we will send you an email. Please understand that we can keep your finished vessels for a maximum of 4 weeks after notification.
A cancellation must be made at least 7 days before the course starts for a full refund. If you miss one of the sessions, NO MAKE-UP CLASSES will be offered.
