In this introduction to throw on the potter's wheel, you will learn to make small vessels such as cups and bowls and how to glaze them.

And this is how the course will work:
This course takes place on two consecutive weekends. On the first weekend, pottery is made for 3 hours on each day and glazing for 2 hours on the Saturday of the following weekend.
Through individual supervision you will be taught the basic techniques to be able to make small simple vessels, such as cups and bowls, on the potter's wheel.
No previous knowledge is required to take part in this course, which is aimed at beginners and advanced beginners.
Two to five vessels can be completed during the course.
1st session: | We throw simple shapes, such as cups and bowls, on the wheel. |
2nd session: | The vessels made at the 1st session will be trimmed and handles will be added if desired. |
3rd session: | You have a large selection of coloured glazes at your disposal with which you can design your bisque fired vessels. |
Pick up your self-made pottery
Your self-made pottery will be ready 2-3 weeks after the last course date.
As soon as they are ready for collection, we will send you an email. Please understand that we can keep your finished vessels for a maximum of 4 weeks after notification.
Cancellation
A cancellation must be made at least 7 days before the course starts for a full refund. If you miss one of the sessions, NO MAKE-UP CLASSES will be offered.
